    Xbox Mod Chips. Thoughts?

    What are everyone;s thoughts about modding the XBOX? Seems like some of you have a modded box and am just wondering about the hassle of finding an upgrading BIOS software.

    Can you dump Mp3's to the drive if you use a chip?

      I don't own one, but I wouldn't get one.. They're a real PITA to install, which means they can't be upgraded easily.. So the real killers is the XBox Live - MS is working hard to make sure that modded XBoxes can't play MP games.

      So even if you're using it for legit purposes, like some people are, running linux and shit on it, you're screwed for MP gaming on their network.
