Leased Plugin Software

i'm in the beginning stages of putting together a leased image/video plugin.

Here's my question. Is there any software out there to track the bandwidth usage used by the surfers from each leasee?
For video I'd be using Windows Media so the software would have to also track the bandwidth used from the media server.

Last question - authentication. Most plugins use .htaccess to control access to their plugin content. Of course this is a joke, people all over the place are spoofing their way in i.e. Pornosaur, ZSpoof

I'm no techie, what's a better alternative?

I have a custom made plugin system, works awesome, no htaccess shit, tracks bw from each user.
I could sell it to you but i have no clue how

Ray has a product called "strong box" which manages ip's and blocks spoofers. I understand it protects the movies as well. It will also stop members from using these site download tools as well.
