I goto the computer store & pick up some RDRAM 256mb (4x64) put it in my box & blam....doesnt work. I check out the sticks...the ones i have are 600mhz NonECC, the ones i bought are 800mhz ECC.
Now i know with SDRAM you can use 200mhz ram in a 100mhz computer it will auto down-clock.
Is the same true for RDRAM? And whats the diff between ECC & Non ECC?
And on that note if anyone wants (4x64) 256mb of RDRAM ECC 800mhz for 30bux still in box... lemme know.
