    BETTER Conversion ratio OR highpayout per conversion??!? SERIOUS POST

    Hi im developing a affiliate program for starters now because the people that are going to be the affiliates are you then this is your chance to help me and have your input. I am going to put forward 4 scenario based on the facts that the product is relatively Price elastic and targetted to your audience.

    Scenario 1 - Cheap price

    - The product is sold cheaply at:

    $25 and u make $10 per signup , High conversion rate.

    Secenario 2 Cheapish Price

    - The product is sold at:
    $30 and its a 50% split so webmaster gets 50% higher conversion rate.

    Scenario 3 - Medium Price

    - Product is sold just undercutting comp at
    $35 and $20 for webmaster , Lower conversion rate and not seen as so much as a bargain

    Scenerio 4 - High Price

    - Product sold HIGHER than any other product at $49.95 webmaster gets $35

    I assume that you will say HIGHER conversion rate however seriosuly when u are looking at this type of program WILL you really look for that ? The program will be advertised 90% on the web so i need an high uptake of webmasters who will be worked with personally to get an higher conversion rate.

    Any thoughts, comments, much appreciated. thankyou.

    Extra Info

    The competition charge between

    $39.95 - $49.95 all making a $13.95 profit per a sale (doesnt include deduction of fixed or variable costs).

    Webmaster gets:

    Price = $39.95 webmaster gets $26

    Price = $49.95 webmaster gets $35

    Most of you will already be using a similiar sponsor to the one I am proposing what would make you change, simply as stated the pricing arrangements?
