Video program that justs converts.

We are steaming ahead with our video productions and soon getting in 100 titles of DVD content from a UK retail distributor.

What is slowing us down is the converting to Mpeg, WMV and Divx.

So need a program that will do just that, the video editor has two computers, Adobe Premiere is on one and the other is not being used a lot. So need a good program that converts only.

Paul, 100 dvd titles to be encoded is a lot of work. Maybe you should put some company to do that for a fee/title. It will save you from a lot of trouble. Let me know and I can recommend you some.

We have one full timer in the office and one outside so hopefully we can get through this ourselves.

Just wary of letting others do it for us.

I'm not sure about the to DIVX conversion, but the program "Digital Media Converter"
may be what you're looking for

100 DVD's... you will need plenty of space and time...
You will need first to grab movie on HD, then to recompress that vid...
For converting to Mpeg I suggest TMpegEnc.

DivX? Are you sure about this one? DivX is not anymore open source and fees for commercial use is very, and I mean VERY BIG...
However, for converting from mpeg2 (vob) to XviD/DivX VirtualDub Mpeg2 mod is the best solution...
