Basically, I've never heard shit about Fris before his Brad Shaw incidents. After reading all those "facts" and "information" though, I am decidedly on his side. Far as I know, he didn't "hack" anyone, nor did he do anything illegal

He just went up against some guy who loves throwing legal weight as well as his money around, and he should come away clean. If you have other reasons for being against SI hiring Fris, or Fris himself, so be it....but far as I'm concerned, his only transgressions were against Brad Shaw, and Fris was in the right on all those accounts.

(For the record, I manage 1400+ linux and solaris machines now, been doing unix sysadmin for 12 years professionally, and another 3 before that for college, so my comment about pay isn't unwarranted.)
