    Wireless network problems and questions.

I have a Linksys wireless router (Wireless-G 2.4 Ghz) in my office that is hardwired into my office computer and laptop. I just installed another computer in my den for my girlfriend to use and I put in a Wireless-G network adapter.

My problem is that it is no more than 100 feet away with 2 walls between and the signal strength is very low, low, and limited. It also drops all the time so the "Wireless network is now connected" balloon continues to pop up.

Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to configure anything?

Did you configure your new computer to recognize the Linksys router?

Wireless is nice, but walls do slow things down.

reset the router and try again.

I get 100% most of the time. Once is a great while it will not even connect. I just reset the modem and router then it works.

One thing I'd like to know is how to secure the network. Everytime I try to do that it won't let me connect anymore.
