    Good video editing/encoding forums?

Anyone know of a good video editing/encoding forum? I am having some issues with Cleaner XL.

    Thanks

Cleaner XL forums online are very limited. I know, I use the app as my main encoding app and I had to go to a few places to find forums to get around one limitation in the program (how to create custom mpeg-1 screen sizes). Check Discreet.com's forum (now owned by Autodesk) and also CreativeCow.com's encoding forum. Perhaps DVInfo.net's forums too.

Had this same issue Jim. Back when I had it the only way to rectify it was to get the support staff at the software company to send us a custom encoding profile with the screen size built into it. Once I got it I figured out how to get inside that profile and mess with the screen sizes myself.

Yeah, editing the profile in Notepad you can create any custom screen sizes for mpeg-1. That's one of the most commonly asked Cleaner XL questions.

I am trying to encode 300 videos (in individual directories) to 3 forms of wmv. What I am trying to do is have them all run in the same job and have it write the files back to the individual folders. So in the morning(or a few days later) when i come back i have the 300 folders with a master file and 3 wmv files in each. i am trying to avoid ending up with one output folder with 900 videos in it or having to make 300 individual jobs. I have used other batch encoding programs before that allow you to "save to same directory as input file" so essentially all i have to do is drag in the master vids and they output back to the directory they came from. I can't seem to figure out how to do this with cleaner XL
