Can't wait for that Simpsons DVD package to come out - it'll be the thing that finally makes me get off my ass and buy a DVD player!

--- Fox have finally confirmed that The Simpsons are coming to DVD, with the complete first season making it's debut on September 25th.

All 13 episodes will be spread across three discs, priced at $39.98.

Extras are said to include; the original shorts that debuted on "The Tracey Ullman Show", a never-before-seen lost episode, seven foreign-language clips, Albert Brooks outtakes, the BBC special "America's First Family", an ABC News Special Report on the Bart Simpson T-shirt controversy, original scripts, commentary for each episode, early sketches, magazine covers and stills.

The second season is currently set to arrive in time for Xmas, with two more sets appearing each year.

I love it as much as the next guy, but the show is a complete shit whole since season 9 ended.

Brain eating jockeys? What the fuck was that shit? I'm glad they fired that 'tard Scully.

          Long live season 4.

Idinternet, you didn't like the episode with the brain eating jockeys?!? I thought that was pretty funny... but I have to admit, sometimes I think the writers must be smoking crack while writing the episodes, because if that's the same one I'm thinking of, didn't the jockeys live underground and looked like leprechauns or something? That's pretty scary. Wow, I think I watch too much t.v. (its scary that I know each episode)

Yeah, ld - I know what you mean. The last few seasons have been quite inferior. A friend of mine (who's as fanatical as I am about the Simpsons) has purposely missed this whole last season. And I hear they've signed on for at least two more. :/

If you ask me, I think they should've ended with the "behind the laughter" episode, and it would've been perfect...
