verizon vs cingular

Verizon is usually cheaper on phones. Plans are about the same. I used to have Cingular and now I have Verizon but I switched because my brother, sister and parents have Verizon and I can call them with out chewing up minutes.

Verizon all the way. I've been with every national carrier and some regional carriers and Verizon has been superior on connection, quality, customer service and product selection.

cingular kept screwing up my bill. And then I would have to spend an houro nthe phone to get it corrected. They have friends and family and it seems like they are the biggest so if you talk to someone on their network its free.

Verizon they say has the best quality service. But when I was with them I didnt think so. but not great in beach communities.

Sprint seems to have the best prices on features and minutes for the price. But if your by beaches they dont have a great signal.

t-mobile is on the same network as cingular. I've honestly been very happy with both cingular and t-mobiles quality. I cant think of one negative thing in my experience with t-mobile.

My advice to anyone who gets a cell phone. In the first few days go to all the areas you fequently will be using the cell phone and see how the sound quality is. they usually give you 2 weeks to break the contract.

Also verizon I am told has great wireless internet for less than $100 month.

cingular has rollover and it has the black razor phone so those are the pluses, i got tmobile now and im tired of their shitty service (the signal, the billing and stuff is fine)

Did the same shit to me when I was under AT&T and it continued for a few months after the buyout. I had to spend at least an hour on the phone with them every month for 4 - 5 months last year.

I used to love cingular when I had them. I am finding a way to break my sprint contract at the moment so I can get a razr and go back to cingular. I've never heard any complaints from friends with verizon either.
