Counters - Paycounter especially

Is Paycounter for real? A counter that gives you good stats, and instead of charging you they pay you.

Does anybody use this? Is it worth it? Right now, I'm using Sextracker because I'm able to get a few extra hits off it and hopefully help my google ranking with it. But is Paycounter worth using? I'm very interested in having proper stats. I'm a marketer at heart, so I like to know if the efforts I put in certain directions are paying off.

I am a little bias.. but KC over at Paycounter has built a great product. They pay on time, every time. The stats are comprehensive. I give em' two thumbs up.

Biased cause you use them? Or cause you're friends with someone there? If it's cause you use it and are happy with it, then great. I want to hear that. If you're friends with someone there, then great too. Except not for me! hehehe

Both. I use them.. and am friends with KC. He's a standup guy ( a little fat.. but a standup guy)

Paycounter is awesome! I made over $100 this month just from them keeping my stats!

Their counter is so easy to use and navigate. I definetely recommed them!

Sextracker is the most usefull to me, i especially like their new "executive suite", which is a software package you can keep docked on your desktop to check out your traffic flows in real-time.

Never tried paycounter, but it seems like a great concept & i've heard the stats are accurate from many people.

Everyone has their strong points & weakpoints...try both & see which one you like

McAttak, we're for real... In fact, my check signing hand is still sore from last month ;) We currently have over 35,000 actice Websites using our service and somewhere around 18,000 webmasters using our product. The counter has been around for over 3 years now. Give it a shot

I had used paycounter for 1 month.
After 1 month, with 1,350,000 uniques PC had earned around $6

With 45K uniques a day, it would have taken around 9 months before they sent the $50 minimum check. I had the PC in a good position as well.

I guess it can make some money, but you need alot of traffic to see a check every month.
But hey, it beats not being paid at all!
If you just want some stats, might as well use a counter that will pay you.

KC - what is the average amount of money webmasters are earning based on 1 million uniques at their page?

Paycounter is deffinatly the best counter I've ever tried, especially if you're counting multiple sites. The 5c a click isn't bad, either.

Like everything, it depends completly on the type of traffic. There are freesites with 20,000 hits a day making as much as TGP galleries that have hundreds of thousands of hits. So it's almost impossible to answer that question.

The thing that you have to remember that getting paid is an added bonus. You don't sign up for a counter program primarilly for getting paid, you sign up for their accurate stats.

Even if I wasn't getting paid I would still use Paycounter.

Wow, I be talking to the PRE-Z-DENT! heheh, thanks for that info on PC. It sounds good. We're testing out some counters, we're using Sextracker right now and I think I will test out PC on some other sites that we have. The $0.05 is for clicks to the counter itself right? I can't just be all whacko and get paid for hits to my sites can I?
