    Windows Media Encoder Problem

I don't know what the fuck to do. I have two computers, one a P233 old shitbox and a newer P4 2 GHZ with 512 or whatever it is in RAM. I'm trying to convert video content from MPEG and AVI format to WMV 15fps. Windows Media Encoder crashes every time. Nobody from Microsoft on their support board has any useful help - no surprise there. Nobody at VCDHelp really had any good information. This P4 machine is far more powerful than the requirements listed on Microsoft's Windows Media website.
A few people have blamed it on WIndows XP. I dunno.
When I try to convert these files it fairly quickly shows 100% CPU usage. This ain't good. But hell if I know why it's doing it as I've never done any video conversions before.

    Any tips/advice/URL's to help appreciated
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

Is it the WM7 utility or WM9?
I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...
