Hmmm you use IE and I use IE and have no problems so is it IE problem or your GF and family members ignorance of thier computers. I find it funny how people spend hundreds if not 1000's of $ on a computer and take ZERO time and effort to even learn about the basic operation of it. If you buy a car and don't know how to drive is the car makers fault?

The reason other bowser haven't had as many issues( and FF has had issues by the way ) is because hackers and conmen aren't going to waste time on something very few people use. Trust me if FF was used by 50% of the people and IE was used by the other 50% both would have the SAME amount of issues.

Fact is if your girldfrien and family would use a firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware tolls they wouldn't have any issues no matter which browswer they used. But unfortunately most peole just use the free 30 day( or 90 whichever ) anti-virus subscription that comes with their computer and are too cheap to pony up the $30 once the subsciption is over then wonder why their computers are infected.

Maybe we should take every non-tech user`s computers away....
Are you aware that there are many unpatched IE holes that can compromise your computer`s security?
