    Computer crashed -> lost all my Firefox bookmarks

    this happen to anyone before?

              I`ve read about it on some forums. That`s why I try to export my bookmarks every other day to my backups folder.
              I`m also starting to use the Opera browser more and more.I find it much faster than FF and also more stable.The tab saving and mouse gestures features are great.
              It`s ad supported though so some people might not like that but it`s small adsense ads.And the no-ads version isn`t that expensive IIRC.

                          do a search on your hard drive for "bookmarks.html" or look in Documents and settings user application data / mozilla / firefox / profiles for the bookmarks file

                                  mozilla has a bad habbit of creating new profiles when it crashes. I always keep a backup of the bookmarks.html file on another drive
