Imaging Pros - batch image question!!!!

I need to take about 1500 images and adjust the contrast to them (all the same amount) and the brightness, etc, but don't want to go through each one and update it in photoshop. Does photoshop have the capability to edit images in bulk like that, like a batch file, or is there any other program that could do what I want to do?

    thanx
If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them.

Photoshop will do that if you create an "action" for it. With actions you can do ANYTHING in batch format.

Irfanview will also allow you to do this in batch format. It's free and easy to use.

      Photoshop CS2

Actions in Photoshop are just amazing time savers. I can correct the color, sharpness, size, contrast and watermark 2000 images from Raw / Tiff or Jpeg files and save them ready to burn on a dual layer DVD in about an hour. While i have a beer or shoot more content. When you use Photoshop it will free up a lot of time.

The latest version has some very cool new upgrades

I use Photoshop all the time for things like this. I used to use a program called EyeBatch..... google it if you wanna. It was a superb program and would do all that you needed done and more. They probably have a trial version to test if you wanted.

Use PhotoShop and create your action. Then go to File > Automate > Batch and you can run that one action on any number of images in a folder or on open images. Let me know if you have any other questions.
