If you are a weekend warrior for two decades does that make you addicted?

Drinking, drugs, etc.......

Cuss I been thru this cycle for twenty years and I think I may have a bit of a drinking problem. And I can't watch a football game without drinking beer? And when the games over I piss in the hamper and beat up my neighbors! Does anyone else think they are in the weekend warrior club?

Yup. Sunday through Thursday, (minus the occasional special event) I don't drink. Come the weekend, its time to rip shit up. I meet lots of people during the week that reminise (SP?) about our good times the weekends before, but I can't remember them at all, or the car we stole or the bar brawl we were in.
A problem? Hell no!
A Good time? As far as I can tell.
I have tons of cool scars and half stories to tell.

Actually, in AA they tell you weekend wariors are the worst addicts.

They cover up more of their disease than any other addict.

They are also classified as "Bingers" which anyone who knows, binge drinkers are the worst.

been to many AA meetings, NA meetings, and have read tons of shit on addiciton.

and battle it daily.

I no longer smoke cigarettes or wake up with whisky.

I do smoke herbs though hehehe

If you really don't want to drink, just offer to drive. Usually its a battle to see whose gonna end up driving since we all wanna drink, but go ahead and offer to drive if you wanna cut back on drinking.

The problem with hangin' with your buds while they're drinking and you aren't is that after a while they begin to speak a slightly different language ... the 3rd time somebody repeats a joke its STILL not funny ... the hot broad somebody is firing on was last considered hot during the first Reagan term ... and the only way to get in with it is to get low with 'em.
