CLEANER XL USERS....Need a few quick pointers!

What basic encoding settings do you use for encoding wmv's from avi's?

I am encoding some old digital8 and hi8 tapes and they are coming out a bit choppy unless I bump the setting up - anyone have a list of "perfect settings" or just a good set to start with?

Bit Rates: Variable (video and audio)

    Dimensions: 320 x 240
    Constrain: Unconstrained
    Key Frame Interval 5 seconds
    Avg. Bit Rate: 1000kbps

    Decoder Complexity: Automatic

    Frame Format: Progressive
    Pixel Aspect Ratio: Square (1:1)

I often encode wmv's at 700Kb, Windows Media Audio 9, WM Video 8 constant bit rate mode, , key frame interval=10, at 320x 240 frame size, 32 kbs, 44 kHz, stereo CBR audio. (Square pixel aspect ratio)
