my girlfriend hates when I drink now cause our neighbour below us drinks everyday morning till night, always screaming at his kids and wife, throwing shit, slamming doors etc.. its hard for me to have a few beers now without being compared to him.. its not fair.. I act funny in a stupid way but I am no where near abusive.. she is now gone to bed as well as her friend and im stuck here all by myself. drinking sucks

If you think your drinking is a problem then it really is and you need help.
If you drink on the weekends or at parties then I do not think it is a problem as long as you do not have a party every night.
If your GF does not drink and you do this can create a big problem in your relationship. Alcohol is not a cure nor an answer. If you can go without and be happy then do it.

I would sit your GF down and have a talk with her to discuss your drinking and the effects it has on you versus other people.

she is pregnant so she is left out and realize that I all of a sudden act stupid with im drinking... stupid as in too hyper. and first time in 5 months now.. holly crap that long.. when i was single i drank very often and that was 2 years ago.. and damn i was able to do crazy amount of work when i was drinking..

I for sure don't have a drinking problem but compared to one that does now. even when I drink a beer now I feel like an idiot like the guy downstairs, he ruins it for me.
