    Google Sandbox Question

What is the longest amount of time that you have had a site in Googles sandbox?

Also what is the shortest amount of time that you have had a site leave the sandbox?

Oh, and you can evade the so-called "sandbox" if you create a subdomain on an already existing domain.

            Works like a charm.

              Like hell there isn't.

BTW Nap, I saw a guy post a detailed explanation of his SEO techniques on another forum. He said his site was in the sandbox for a year. On the short end I have no idea.

My site is about 7 months old and I have yet to get any major Google traffic. Yahoo on the other hand is a completely different story. When I check my site on that link that Smokey just posted my site is on the first page on my keywords.

From what I have been reading it looks as though I have to wait at least a year before I get out of the sandbox and go play.

I was just curious with other peoples experiences.

I get some google traffic, and googlebot visits every day to my pages setup for the se's. Not much traffic from them but some. Yahoo and MSN are good though.

Something to realise as well with that search above for no filter, it removes MORE then just the sandbox, just because your site shows up top doesnt mean it will after it comes out of the quite real "sandbox"

It may have other penalties or negative things affecting that rank as well. Which that search querie removes those filters as well (so its beleived)

1 year is a good time to plan for, seen it in 7-8 months also with tight ranking, Whoever said use a subdomain, well thats easy but has nothing to do with beating the sandbox, the sandbox is a penalty placed on new domains that usually lasts one year (this is give or take a few months depending on site and link strategy)
