How best to launch affiliate program?

If you got good product, word of mouth will get it out.
Or how about buying a banner on GFY / other boards.

Set a marketing budget, and try to get the best ROI, trial and error, no way around it.

i would say that seriously, the best thing to do is to develop and build your own traffic base first and revenue streams first - and then worry about launching a program.

if you are going to be relying on posting, banner ads etc, you will be fucked. the ROI will be almost zero. banner ads on forums are more for maintaining a presence, than for getting business. spending big money for a launch won't buy the relationships you need with people who have real traffic. that is done in person and over time.

there are no shortcuts and there is no easy way.

I have done this already, site is on its feet, profitable with my traffic, and conversion rate is good. Now I want to expand.

i would focus on bringing in some in house traffic... good affiliates will come if you have a good product.
