Has anyone heard from him? I think he was arrested, but our attorney hasn't heard anything from him either.

From my husband's stories of the 'vacation from hell' - I'd try to contact authorities there or find a contact that has the contacts there to find him. That's just me though - I'm sure many think my suggestion is ridiculous.

BTW, you can always check with your phone company where the last call he made to you came from (to know which area he was in).

If you are serious you need to contact the closest Mexican Consulate to your city or get a hold of the US consulate office down there.

Somthing similar happened to a college roommate, he got lucky cuz his mom had some clout with the Mexican consulate in LA at the time and they finally got him and his two friends out of Jail.

If he's not the type to just take off without letting someone know then it's a bad sign down there. Hopefully he wasn't caught with drugs or pissed of the wrong guy shooting content of his chick and fucking with his machismo.

When my gf went to Puerto Vallarta last summer and didn't call me for 2 days, I figured something must be wrong, and called the Americam Embassy in the middle of the night.
