    Microsoft...tsk tsk tsk

Just seen on the news how microsoft is helping china (who has the rank of worlds worse for human rights) is helping them filter out words used on the internet there like: freedom, independence, and others related to anything to do with that...Ifyou type any of these words in people will get a warning popup window ....talk about sensorship to the extreme....but MS says they are not doing anything wrong.

It appears that it all comes down to money hey....

Fine with me. If a country wants to censor its people and that is how it is ran, so be it if US companies help.
As for human rights, we are not no innocents ourselves.

Well every other American company is already selling out America. How mnay American jobs has Wal-Mart cause to be lost. Oh sure Wal-Mart replaces some by building new stores and hiring those workers, but at 1/3 of what they were making.

Consumers buy what is offered to them. If the only choice was stuff that was made in America like old Sam Walton use to have it then that's what they would buy. PERIOD.

Sure, and nobody ever bought stuff from other stores that caried items made in china, or other regions?
Wal-mart went chinese in order to lower prices and gain market share with consumers who's only main objective in pricing is more for less. Consumers as a whole can buy American if they please, they just do not give a shit.
