    firewall/security question

I have Norton Internet Security Protection as well as Zone Alarm running, and they are wired behind a Linysys router. Do i need Zone Alarm and Norton together, or can I just use Norton. I do not know anything about internet protection. Please send comments about this. or point me in the right direction.
    thanks

I'm no expert either but if your Nortin program and zone alarm can run together without conflicts then might as well leave them both on.

I used Norton Internet Security Protection and Zonealarm together before... they worked just fine.... one would catch something before the other is all... I just use ZoneAlarm Pro now with a router though...If you have a network the Norton Personal Firewall will not let you look at your other computer's... I also use 2 Virus checkers Norton and AVG... the same with them one catch's stuff before the other... Although AVG catch's them 1st more often....

I forgot...I think ZoneAlarm is much better....

Want Internet Protection ? Unplug your computer from the router.

            www.sheildsup.com

perform a nice little security test you can use when running Zone Alarm and Norton stuff.

definatlely check out watchguard's products or Aresnal, They have alot of info on security and really interesting products for getting your security tightened like no tommorrow.
