what was the biggest bank wire transfer delay you ever had ? 12 days here.. and still waiting.. should i get conserned ?

I send hundreds of wires a month to all different countries and the longest it has taken is 5 days(working days). If its 12 days either someone is lying about it being sent or their bank is at some box in a 3rd world country.

If its a "European transfer" (correct IBAN and BIC provided) then it shouldnt take more than 3-4 business days

I waited over 2 weeks once ,
Then I called my bank and had to tell them to " forward all wires to account "
Whatever the fuck that means .. I can't imagine having to do this but I did and all wires are alot faster now..

Call the bank and have them trace the wire ..
The first guy you will get on the phone will say its not possible .. hang up and call till you get someone that knows what they are talking about .

YOu need the Amount and location the wire is coming from to trace it .
