Anyone ever been attacked by chiggers? I sat outside the other night with some friends and I thought I felt something on me every now and then but couldn't see anything. Now my feet and legs are covered in a million little red welts that ITCH LIKE FUCKING HELL! I AM IN AGONY! FUUUUUUUUCCCCCKKK!! THIS IS HELL ON EARTH!!!! ARRRGHHHH!!!!

Sounds like you have too many for the nail polish treatment so try this:

Coat the areas heavily with vaseline and put your legs up. Keep the coating heavy for a couple of uninterrupted hours. Suffocate them ans the burrow holes will heal pretty quickly with some med cream. Its the fastest way to get them.

And you might take joeE a bag of fertilyzer WITH the bug stuff mixed in as well.

Yip I had'm...I grew up in Texas...The worse case I got was... took a girl out to the country ...in my old 4 door Ford Falcon... parked... got her int he back seat..her legs were hanging out side and I was standing out side..dropped my pants...did my business...Took her home...went out with some friend later.. was dancing...drinking...noticed something...but not really until the next morning....I was covered from my toes to my waist with chiggers bites.... i grew up on farms and used to have to go out and track down our milk cow every morning, through fields of tall hay. made money in the summertime bucking bales onto a hay truck, ran a brush hog quite a bit too. chiggers aint shit

the way to get rid of them is this:

draw a hot bath. pour 3 capfuls of chlorine bleach into the water and soak in it for about 15 minutes

something else that you might find interesting, even though it isnt directly helpful:

the chigger doesnt actually feed on your living tissue or your blood. the chigger eats the dead flesh around it, that is created when it embeds itself in your flesh, much the same way that a fly eats, by dissolving the food with saliva and then sucking it up. that is how the chigger burrows in, it is literally eating a hole into you starting with the epidermal layer and proceeding as the skin beneath dies
