    Google PR

    Just noticed a site of mine which usually gets into the top 15 listings for a bunch of SE word combos shows NO page rank in the google toolbar.

    Sites been up for a few months......
    gets 1500 uniques a day plus lotsa returns and bunches of bookmarkers.....

    Something to worry about??
    The fact the PR is still a zero????

    I somehow get banned???
    How can I tell if I did.....
    I have no sig...sigh

          Nah somtimes take a while buddy, if your getting traffic from google then your not banned!! I had a site which had no pr for about 5 months then went to pr5

                  and you're right. It is a little weird....
                  I was poking around on a few other domains and one of my mainstream ones has a PR 4 again, very weird since it just went live in a most generic way again. LOL


                  guess I won't worry that much about it.

                      could be many things.. PR is based on content and related backlinks (generaly)
                      Focus on the content, that is what brings the surfers.. PR will grow over time.

                      but make sure you get content-related backlinks...

                                          pagerank has been down a lot lately, hit up any seo forum or gfy for that matter....you will see all kinds of threads about it

                                              Im building a streetrace site in my sparetime, made with my own PHP CMS
                                              Im nr 10 on google on the term "streetrace" .. yes - FIRSTPAGE, and I got PR0 because the site is brand new, and still in not really done.
                                              Reason? Content,title,anchor text and keywords... nothing else - no cheating or cloarking

                                              The only reason why I expose that site, is because its not made to ern money.. its just for fun.. Until its PR7 ;-)
