I've never had unjust encounters with cops EVER. I have called the cops on people, I have had them called on me. The only time I was given a hard time is when I did something to deserve it. Either mouthing off or committing a crime. When my old place was broken into while I was sleeping I scared the wigger off and called the fuzz on his ass. They were polite, understanding and very helpful. They couldn't gather enough evidence to make an arrest because there was no proof of who he really was. The old lady next door who was storing his bike protected his ass and claimed the bike didn't belong to him. There were bike tracks over the snow bank with his foot prints along it, as if he was pushing the bike, the same foot prints on my living room floor. but the lady protected his ass and the bike disappeared the next day.

Sure it pissed me off that nothing could be done, but is it the cop's fault? No. Does it mean he should be spit on or killed? hell no.


get some fucking respect for the people who put their lives on the line for you every day you assholes. These people should be looked up to more than those fighting overseas. Trust me, cops are in much more danger and more cops die per day than soldiers.

case and point 4 weeks ago i had a bbq in my backyard, i live in an upperscale neighbourhood here in calgary, and hang out with people mid 20s - 30s. someone had called the cops based on a noise complaint.

the cops showed up with 4 cruisers and a police SUV all parked outside my house on a saturday night. on top of that they told my neighbours someone had reported gunshots, last time i checked i do not live in compton.

around the EXACT same time they were wasting there time with me in the back of the cruiser freaking at them there was a fatal shooting downtown.

cops are all pieces of shit, and i truly hope they all are ran over by the public they supposedly protect.

maybe instead of setting up hundreds of speed traps all day they could be raiding crack houses, makes me wonder where the priorities in this city really are.

and like i said at the begining of this post i would never phone cops, they are only there to interogate you or write you tickets when you are really just an innocent citizen going about daily business.

it has a lot to do with it. people who live in upper scale neighborhoods think the rest of the world is safe because they live behind a wall with armed guards at the gate. i assume the crime rate in your neighborhood is equal to that in the poorer neighborhoods. same bs with the anti gun people, "i don't need a gun to protect myself in my neighborhood, so no one needs them". this isn't lala land, the cops DO protect people and just because you got arrested by one when you were young for being a little prick doesn't mean they're all out to get you. if you ever get robbed and shot because you made a wrong turn somewhere dont call the cops, just sit in your car and bleed to death. that'd be HARDCORE!!!!

saying "I will do whatever I want" to a man in custody (most likely a criminal) does not make someone an ego driven maniac. secondly, "that guy was obviously a piece of shit" is probably a very accurate statement. he has a problem with authority. chances are very likely he DID SOMETHING WRONG, if he can't handle some stern words from a police officer without resorting to physical action, then indeed - he is a a piece of shit. chances are very SLIM that this guy was just "walkin the streets" minding his own business to do whatever landed his ass there.

whoah whoah, i never said i felt safer because i am in an upperscale neighbourhood, i am just saying if something were to come around and happen i see myself taking it into my own hands and not in the hands of "the law" also as a youngster i was never arrested also NEVER in trouble once with the police, the thoughts i have have come from the past few years with personal expieriences as an innocent citizen.

and if i was shot id call the paramedics not the cops. (but obviously the cops would come to a shooting) but im not 100% sure if i would even tell them anything.
