Worst Mainstream Work Experience

Okay, since I'm a new poster hopefully you'll excuse if this topic has been done to death.

I recently gave up trying to go "legit" and enter the crapass mainstream web design industry. After a year and a half of the worst experience of my life - I have returned to adult design and started to fart around here.

My question for you dudes is this...

What is the worst non-adult web-related project experience/environment you have ever been involved with?

My favorite experience was when we were doing an online contest for a national Jewelery retailer. When it came time for me to present all the entries to the contest (about 1000) to the production manager, I informed her that there were certain legal responsibilities when choosing the winner of a contest (provincial laws and all) and a certain fairness had to be ensured. The solution? Close my eyes and point to a name on the screen.

Why is anyone not involved with the adult industry a fucking moron when it comes to anything slightly related to the web?

I worked at for one month at a Christmass tree farm I had to cut, trim, bundel hundres of trees a day those fuckers get heavy after awhile, but I made ( insert sarcatice voice) $7 an hour cash

I worked on the Website for a University and we would have these weekly meetings. The Website was for the technology division of this University.


These damn hippies would spend WEEKS on end arguing back and forth over colors. Literally I would sit in week after week of meetings hearing their philosophies over the color Blue. A website that should have taken a month to make took over six months.

I listened to lecture after lecture on the color gold.

Jesus christ...thats nothing. One summer during college I cleaned dorm rooms (and bathrooms) for a local college for like $7/hr I think it was. Working with ignant rednecks just made it that much worse.

Cutting down christmas trees? Give me a fucking break. Try cleaning puke off a toilet.
