    does anyone use Open Office?

any good ? I am thinking of giving it a try but would be interested in hearing from people that have used it. I read the other day that a number of UK schools are using it instead of MS Office to save the school district the costs of paying the MS fees.

it's great but it trys to save in the OpenOffice formats by default. It has all the functionality of MSOffice but it's free and not a peice of unstable shit like MSO

ICQ me and I'll walk you through making OpenOffice save in MS formats

I have been using it about a year. It's really great solution if you don't want to buy or steal MS office.

Open Office is great! Wouldn't go back to the MS Office after using it.

I love Open Office. It's easy to save in MS Word format, even if it's not thr default.

I love openoffice. Unlike MS office, it actually works, and has far more functionality. Besides, I just hate Microsoft. Give it a try.

I am playing with their version of Access at the moment (wonder why) and so far I see nothing at all wrong with it.
