YAHOO GROUPS Question (gurus answer within)

I run a few yahoo groups to generate country-specific traffic.

Can anyone tell me how I embed images in my posts / newsletters?

I use my yahoo email account and simply submit to each of my groups (rather than actually going to the groups and posting). I've tried html and it doesn't work -- it just shows the actual code.

    Can someone clever offer suggestions?

    Cheers!

Gotta use an email address that you can edit source on your outgoing messages with.

          beat me to it

The email would be something lik e(groupname)@yahoogroups.com-

you can go to the group, cut and past e the exact email by clicking on post and copy the email that woill be in the exact spot above the post--BUT you can only use an email that is a member of the group, should me easy if you mod them..contact me, I want to cross promote with you I have about 20 groups

instead of posting from the group.

You set your email to compose with color and graphics,
not just plain text, also, you have to set your groups
to accept attachments for it to display the thml messages
(color & graphics) or it will only display the plain text and no pics, etc.

obviously even though it works that way from sending by email to groups
it still only works to those groups that allow atachments in the groups settings

or as I already have said it will just show plain text, and no special fonts
(color / size / style, etc.) and no pics at any group that do not allow attachments

Thanks for the advice folks. I thought this thread had died and then woke up to all this. Someone icqed me and mentioned it could be a problem with me using firefox. I'll try explorer and see if that works because right now I cannot see an option to switch from plain text to html.
