I really don?t have a problem with k-mans site (rawpussy) I love that place; It sends me lots of traffic. What I do have a problem with is getting a damn head shot pic under 4k. I fuck around in adobe and half the time I can?t get it under 4k without it looking like complete shit. What the fuck! Can anyone clue me in on what I need to do. Thanks!

Do you have fireworks? It doesn't matter what you use actually... If you keep the compression level around 80 you should be able to get a 88x88 pic well under 4k. I normally get my 150x150's down to around 4 - 5k so you should have no problem.I've trusted my sites to them for over a decade...

i use lview pro man, it orks great... im sure there are other programs out there....
i get most of my 88x88 thumbs under 3k =-/

i think in photoshop you can crop the image and then choose what file size you want it at .. and it will adjust the compression to get it to that size

Photoshops export seems to be optimized for larger images. If you want to make a thumbnail look nice and stay small, try Sharpening it before you "Save for Web" at about level 60.

I have NO PROBLEM getting it under 4k. Use "save for web" option. Most of the time I can get mine under 3k.
