Well With the help of someone very nice I found the guy who hacked into my tgsw. Also I found that I am not the only one he has done this to. I emailed the other person a few minutes ago. I will not list his name in public, but If any sponsers wants it, i will be glad to oblige His account has been nuked at ars, and there are a couple more I will be contacting. People I urge you to check your templates if you are using the tgsw. He goes into your template files and changes the sponser codes to his own. email me or icq me if you are intereseted. Lets work together to get this cut-throat out of business.

That is what baffles me,, becuase I ran the galleries from a free host, So i dont have a clue how he knew "Where" i was using it. This was my newest copy of tgsw and I hadnt even ran it a week.

Or, he got a referring url to your tgsw from one of his sites when you clicked on his site url somewhere in your tgsw. While setting up tgsw or something. This just came to me in a stroke of brilliance. Dangerous, huh? No one's tgsw is safe from TGP owners now!! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Sorry to hear that happened to you

this has been a common problem with TGSW
you have to remember to secure the admin
and also i went step further and changed the directory structure,,,

but i use the desktop version,,,
its slower but at least more secure

Can I name the pics in each folder differently? like the pics in the blonde folder b001 b002 ect and hardcore folder h001 h002 ? I want to do this so it wont overright my pics each time it makes galleries.

Humm, I got TGSW, never used it as of yet. Can't figure the blasted thing out. It seems like it would be simple to use if I could. But everytime I start to try and work with the script, it seems like more work and frustrats me. If someone out there that uses TGSW can give me a few tips on how to make it work, I'd appreciate it.

You can email the guy who sells it, He is VERY helpful, It is a great program, Just be careful and check your templates often. I know it has taken us a while to set it up. But it is well worth it.

tgsw sure takes a long time to setup but once it is done, and done well (can't stress this enough, lots of lazy people just don't go thru the tgp rules one by one), then it is a very useful tool.
As for someone going into my templates, what would scare me most is that to get in he would have to get in my server and then my tgsw....and the least of my worries would be my templates LOL
Would be interesting to know if you had changed the password or had just left the same the program uses as default, Tropical.

yeah the tgsw was so new i hadnt changed the password, but its freaky the person could tell where my tgsw was at, because i ran the galleries from a free host.

Ok letme explain how this guy is nailing all your tgsw's.


It's not very complicated to someone with limited programming experience.

(1) The programmer assumes everyone installs tgsw on the same directory structure.

(2) The programmer then uses a spider-bot to collect thousands of tgp owners domains & adult site domains (Once again a very simple program) Essentially this hacker goes & finds the source for a e-mail harvester, modify's it to pick up domains instead of e-mails.

(3) Now armed with a list of nearly every major adult domain, the "hacker" Well lets not even call him a hacker, but a oppurtunist...Needs to scan each domain.

(4) The asshole then makes a program to scan www.everydomain.com/cgi-bin/tgsw/admin.cgi (i forgot tgsw's path sorry)

(5) The program then picks up a Response code from the server (302 Found) if the script exists. (404) or (403) if not found. It is most likely 403 since its scanning a cgi-bin...but then none of you care so ill shutup! =)

(6) The program the punk-bitch made then logs all the response codes & domains into a log file.

(7) The WHORE then goes to each site on the list & types in "admin" as the password - & catch's all the lazy people & or newly installed scripts by the ballz.


**NOTE*** If this jerk-off is good, he will use a brute force password cracker on your script to gain access, if not he will move on to the next one. SO PEOPLE make your pw long & obscene so as to not get cracked.
