    Pool.com experts needed

I found a domain that I want. It says it is owned by pool, com but it is not listed as being for sale. What is that all about? Do I have to register to see the good ones? Or do they have private stock I can inquire about? Thanks.

      Chargeback perhaps, or unlisted.

Well, you have to be in the auction before it drops and before they catch it to be able to bid. Just like snapnames. It kinda sucks, but at the same time keeps the prices a bit lower (though pool is overpriced anyways) since not everyone sees every other persons drops.

So, if you were not initially in the auction before they caught it (if you didn't add it to your account), you're SOL.

Of course, like someone else said, there is a chance that the auction is long over and pool is holding the domain due to non-payment, which I doubt, but you can check that by looking at the Whois and verifying the registration date.

        Good Luck

Side note, can anyone tell me of a service like pool.com that is #1, cheaper for the shittier names and #2, also scores by PR?

If it does not say this domain is for sale by pool.com then its not for sale but you can email them and make an offer (which is usually not accepted anyways unless you have big cash)

enom's club drop for cheaper names (starting at $10 + regfee) and for that PR score keep your eyes open, a new service will emerge in the coming weeks
