Does Google parse JavaScript? (4 link popularity)

Does google look at links created by javascript code?

I am interlinking all of my sites together, to increase link popularity, and the easiest way (as well as the smallest) is to do it with javascript. The only problem is, I don't think google.com looks at stuff created by javascript.

I mean, I am sure it is smart enough to parse it, but I would be willing to bet that it doesn't rank as much as a real traditional text link... if at all.

    Any info?

I've heard the less JS in the HEAD section you use the better ranked you'll be. But that is just a rumor I heard and I cannot confirm this as something factual. I have not noticed a difference, and I don't think Google parses it.
SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

A little JS in the head won't screw you up. However if you do have quite a bit of it, put it in a .js file instead. It won't fuck the spiders as much.
