    ucj-c

just wondering, does anyone who has used this script prefer anything else? there has to be weaknesses in it, and stronger points in other scripts.

if none of that made any sense, its early in the day :-/

HI I have used several copies of the script and it´s very very good, just take a look at the big list of users in the ST top 100..

The script is pretty easy so tweak, and it can handle high traffic.

      When I got TM3 (www.tgpsoftware.com), my site went from 6k a day to 30k a day within a week!

SIG TOO BIG! Maximum 120x60 button and no more than 3 text lines of DEFAULT SIZE and COLOR. Unless your sig is for a GFY top banner sponsor, then you may use a 624x80 instead of a 120x60.

The main apparent weakness of UCJ-c as well as most (actually all widespread) CJ scripts is their relying on a parameter called HTTP_REFERER.
I am posting a thread about inaccuracies of CJ scripts and the relying on HTTP_REFERER for those who like to know where the problem comes from and the reasons why it will get worse till the point where it (soon) will be "unbearable"...

          http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...threadid=73124

NOTE: I must state that this is not a weakness of UCJ only but a problem of any script relying on that HTTP_REFERER value?

i like ucj, but the biggest weakness with any trade script is actually all the hitbots and leeching programs.

one thing i don't like about ucj is forcing traffic doesn't seem to work very well. makes it hard sometimes to get trades going. it never sends what you want it to.

i have had no problems with forcing....... i just dont like how it can over send to trades you dont want, if you are trying to keep to a ratio or a "normal tradE" then you have to babysit it

Hmmm... are you sure you have the traffic..??
If you only have a few hundred clicks per hour going out to trades and you're trying to force 300 an hour then the script will try it's best... which won't be too good. If the traffic is there, the force is an awesome tool.

the traffic is there, sometimes it won't send. another problem i'm having is my numbers don't add up to other people's numbers. differences of over 100% between different traffic trade scripts.

not sure what the problem could be, is it my ucj or is it the other script? hard to tell.
