BERLIN, Germany (AP) -- More than 1,000 toads have puffed up and exploded in a Hamburg pond in recent weeks, and German scientists still have no explanation for what's causing the combustion, an official said.

there's a good chance it's from certain pollutants in their enviroments. amphibians are always the first animals to get fucked up in any ecosystem because part of their respiration process is through their skin. so anything impurities in their enviroment are quickly passed into their blood.

It spread to here in Denmark and the scientist have no clue to what is going on! The pollution levels in the water isn´t different from what it usually is.
And it seems to happen between 2 and 3 am really strange.
