Wireless network

Hi everyone hope your all having a good day

Woudl you say that 11Mbps wireless network 2 desktops and a wirless adsl router will be fast enough to have a network and do general stuff like share the internet ect i only have 1mb internet so do you think it would be ok or would i need the 54mbps wireless ???

The network speed is only for your internal network (computer to computer) If you share resources between the computers then go with higher rate, if not, don't worry about it. Either way it won't make a difference on your internet speed.

I would go with the 54mbps models. They send differently and lose less packets. Plus if you ever need to transfer a file between the 2 computers it will be much faster. Hope that helps...

I have the same setup as you do, and I'm surfing on a wireless laptop on a 11mbps card just fine.
