want to make some extra cash reffering other
webmasters to our program.

I will setup a custom reffering tour with your
code and you can keep 25% of all money that is
made via CCBill on all transactions processed by
webmasters that you refer.

I have one webmaster doing this, he is making
about $400 a month in just 3 weeks, give or take
a few days and dollars.

dynaspain -- don't confuse things. I didn't know it was your employee, and honestly, it makes no difference -- if I have a reseller who wants to see whats in our sites, I always give them access. What better way for them to make more money for all of us.

The comments on this thread aren't directed towards you, that is obvious.

I don't know JR, but I do know Jeff, Gavin and Lindsey-- hung out with them for quite some time. Never once heard of another partner, much less one that thought up all their ideas for them.

i knew JR handled jeff's webmaster affiliate shit, i had some words with Jeff over JR's arrogance and ensure he gave JR a reality check... They screwed my out of a small check I used to send to my dad each month to help him out and I wasnt too happy, Joel could care less, but I had his attitude rectified with a swiftness...

also, i was at a club last night with one of the busty dj's and it has been re-verified, Jeff 'found god' is the reason he quit... gotta love it!

DynaSpain I am completely agreeing with you and I have seen your work and you are a damn good at what you do HOWEVER it has to do with the person who is being the "board spokesperson" for an affiliate program. If my company was fresh off of a very productive conference with Aria Giovanni as the "representative" I would definitely not be asking webmasters to add my program to their sig. It just shows how desperate they are for new webmasters and definitely hurts rather than helps webmasters because they have no confidence in the program. Im sure Want Boobs is a good sponsor but they have the wrong mouthpiece representing them

This will be my last comments on this subject. I've kept my mouth shut about it until now, figuring it wasn't my business. And it's still not. But hey, it's my mouth so I can run it.

I've had two jobs other than being a webmaster since I started.

I did not leave either of them with anything that did not belong to me.

Not a single webmaster list, not a single customer list, not one email that was not legitimately in my address book.

I don't claim to have given Ron Cadwell every idea to make a great billing company. I don't claim to have given Ken Lawson every idea to make a great program.

I did my job at both companies, to the best of my abilities, and I was happy in both cases.

My ego, either time I left, did not require me to claim anything different.

If for some reason I were to leave SIC Cash, I wouldn't dare to claim that it's success belonged to me alone (of course I wouldn't say anything at all until there are proven results that I make the company better for starters).

After what I saw in Fla, I was not impressed. I'm not one to burn bridges but I am also not one to sit by and watch someone claim to have done every single thing that made a company successful, one that's no longer in business, and one where the partners in that business aren't around to defend themselves.

If Jeff, Gav or Lindsey were to email me and say, hey, Joel did this and Joel did that, he really did, I'd be happy to apologize.

But as it stands right now, I guess you can tell how I feel about it.

I think it's pretty obvious how I feel about Joel's business practices, although I do talk to him quite often on ICQ. He really likes to run his yap, that's for sure. I've seen him say a LOT of things, but I don't remember seeing him say that he was partner at Busty. Can someone point me to one of those posts?

I do know that he was highly involved with the marketing over there for two reasons: 1) he's the one who sent me email about Busty, consistently and 2) he has the Busty email list. Which he did use for his personal gain. Like Kimmy, I would never touch that territory. When you work for a company, EVERYTHING (unless otherwise specified) that you do while working for them is the companies property. EVERYTHING. No matter how you were involved in the project.

I mentioned this in a thread the other day about graphic designers. Any work that the designer does for a company, is the companies property, the designer has no say in what happens to his work, because in reality, it isn't his work, it's the companies. I feel the same principles apply to almost any job position.

On another note, Gavin came along to help Jeff during the
last 16 months of the site being opened.

I started with Jeff in 1998 when he opened, and I was
there till the day it was closed. I ran the ENTIRE marketing
and webmaster program for BA, all you have to do is ask around
to find that one out..

In fact, I moved from North. Calif to South. Calif to help
Jeff run his business.

The fact of the matter
is that I ran the whole marketing program, I helped over 14,000
active webmasters make money and I had to personally listen
to phone calls and hundreds of emails from pissed off webmasters
when BA announced it was closing.

Did you know that Sex Tracker/Money Tree lost over
50k a month when BA closed, do you think Sean Boday was happy
when he called me about this ?

Did you know that several webmasters owned miss spells of
Busty Amateurs, they lost a total of 50k a month as well.

I lost the 3rd most, about 11-13k a month, D$ lost about 8k a month.. I can go on and on.. Kman lost as well.

Jeff lost his mind, anyone who finds god and becomes ANTI PORN overnight is insance in my book. I saw it coming from montha back, Jeff left Gavin, Lindsay and Me to run all of it in his place.

I made 10% on all profits the company made.. but I was not
paid the last years worth, did I sue them ? NO!

I liked Jeff to much, they gave me a lot of cool shit for all my hard
work, I owed a lot to Jeff.. his ideas and concept changed my life
for the better..

If I bash them, I am owed that right as a partner and employee.
If anything, I should bash XPICS.. I worked there for 4-5 months
back in early 1998.
