    Google AdWords Help

Ashley put up a Google AdWords campaign for her site with a bunch of keywords/phrases including 'Ashley Brookes' - her ad isn't loading that often. what's up with that? I went in and looked at how she set things up and everything is fine, none of the keywords/phrases are disabled or on hold, CTR is very good - isn't it in Google's interest to load the ad often as possible - like every time somebody types in 'Ashley Brookes'?

    thanks for any info
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

max budget is way more than what Google is delivering.

        but thanks.

I have the same problem myself with alot of campaigns, cannot figure out what is doing it. Sometimes they just stop completely after a few days, for no apparent reason.

When did you submit the keywords? Within the last 4-5 days? Sometimes Google slows delivery until a manual review is done.

oh. campaign has been on only a few days.

but when she first started it and i went to Google and typed 'Ashley Brookes' or any of the other phrases in the ad did show up. tonight I don't see it loading at all.

That's normal, Google does slow down impressions after a certain amount of impressions to review your ads quality control.

If you're promoting an AVS site with Overture, do they want a pass to check out every single one of the 5,000 sites in the AVS network?

I've even had a DVD site I submitted to Overture and they wanted a password. I swear their editors are morons who have no clue what they're even looking at.

remember adwords also looks at CTRs as to if and how high to show your ad. if someone else has been bidding on the same keywords as you and sending to the same URL, there is a good chance they have a higher CRT and therefore will get better and more ad impressions. one of the recent changes they made which is good for those with high CTR but makes it hard to break in the listings when you are competing with a lot of other bidders and the same sites.

Increase your CPC. That is the main reason ads don't show when all else looks good.

You are really dealing with the "Ebay" rule, which was put in place to stop 30 Ebay advertisers from bidding on the same keyword and flooding the results. The rule is that only one advertiser can be up per URL. What has happened is you have an affiliate who is bidding on the terms, and has a good bid price/CTR, and ultimately not allowing your ad to be shown. Set your bid to $15 and I'm sure your ad will appear.

A good solution is to setup another domain, such as a .net of the same site. Send your PPC traffic there, and just have everything redirect after they get to the site.
