the same domain as a .com which has been up for nearly a year and gets daily blog entries etc has an Alexa traffic number of 4,522,112

it's strange. it depends on so many things. mine used to be around 90k. i'm now up to around 560k, but my traffic hasn't sloughed off or anything.
    its just weird.

Firstly install the Alexa toolbar, then set your blog as your home page inyour browser, then kit F5 (Function Key) a few times every now and then on your homepage so it refreshes and you should get up to 150,000 if you keep at it.

Alexa is inaccurate and can be manipulated to an extent. They get most of there stats froom people who have their toolbar installed and they log what sites they visit in order to rank sites according to the most visited.

      Goodluck with your new blog
