Dude, don't do it. Visit fo sho! But dude, the pop music there is HARSH. Had a roomie in the Marine Corps from there. Listening to that crap is SUICIDAL.

Damn, I still get shivers thinking about it.

O and for real, I know a lot of Navy guys that got put there. Most of them hated it (long term) and the ones who were there for only a little bit went 50/50 on opinions.

Once the waters recede I would think about Prague. Hell, most people there speak english anyway. Everything is CHEAP, American men are EXOTIC, clubs are BUMPIN.

ugh, i'm still trying to recover from some thai food eaten on monday. i think it destroyed my stomach's lining or something. i won't hold this against thai webmasters, but i won't eat any of them either.

I agree with the "just visit" opinion. Thai girls are pretty, but also pretty deceitful. Thailand is fun and cheep, but it has it's downsides. If you are a group of white guys going there to set up shop and shoot content for the long term, you better make some Thai friends that can pull some strings, because the Thai police don't fuck around. However, if you know people, you can be golden. Also, don't go down there flashing money around and bowlling people over because you might find your self in a fight with 4 hired Thai kickboxers if someone thinks you need to be brought down a notch. I've heard of it happening. They do have western style apartments and some good connectivity in some places. Good luck
