I need help with a software idea

I have an idea for a program that I have not seen (it may have
been done though and I am sure has been thought of) but I have
no idea who to goto to see if it even a viable option. I have no
programming skills so other than the idea I am at an end with it.
Does anybody know any software programers? Somebody reputable?
Sombody that might be interested in hearing my idea? Should I
take my silly dreams and ideas and just go away?

Same here Apple IIc... I had one of those books. Did that lemonaid stand game out of it.... about 15 years ago

There's a difference between saying you can program just because you have a copy of VB and actually being able to program. By your statement above, you must own a copy of VB.

Well thanks for everyone's imput, good and bad. I still think I have a good idea here and have found more information on getting it rolling. Who knows maybe I will be posting a thread here in 6 or 8 months spamming my new program.
