Post count boasting?

I've read many on this forum boasting about post counts. Though a higher post count is especially encouraging to some, to others it's meaningless.
Offering assistance and vital information is what's important. Whats not important are the continuous responses to whom may have body lice. Months later, wow weee, look at my post count, I am such a great asset to this message board.
