    uggc:// in server logs. Encryption?

    Anyone famialer with urls that show as uggc://

    Its obviously some sort of encryption. Googling doesn't tell me much. Anyone want to enlighten me? thanks

      Yes I found that page it isn't to hard to type uggc encryption into google.

      Maybe I was being to vague.

      Why would a search engine send traffic over in this fashion. I am seeing a ton of it in my logs.

        I've seen S123 doing this before, I think it was mostly for fraud control but not exactly sure why since it doesn't seem any less secure than standard encoding.

          Thanks. I narrowed it down to ABCSearch. I don't really like this because I can't see where the traffic is coming from.

            Oh your right, come to think of it, it probably was ABCSearch. I dropped them a long time ago so I haven't had a chance to look closely at them since then.

              They were underperforming for me with initial tests. Now I see this. I guess I will let the campaign ride out to see what the final numbers show.
