    Spam cop ?

    Hi, I just don't know what to do... Bought existing domain with traffic yest., - change DNS and receiving spam complains warning from spamcop.net today. What I
    suppose to do with this issue. call spam cop , but it busy all the time...
    From spam cop:

          he hasn't had a chance to update his page for all of the IPs that are sending it. but basically, the whole "YOUR NETWORK WILL BE BLOCKED" thing is bullshit. that's not how spamcop works.

          you're fine. that guy (the spammer) sent messages out to contact handles all over the place - several per domain - to try to get spamcop in trouble.

          btw, spamcop is busy all the time because of this spam.

          what's your IP address? did you try putting it in spamcop to see?

              Thanks sulsbury - I check my IP for this domain and it not on the list. And I received the same email 3 times already...

                threaten them to sue them, they are pussies and they'll step back. Send an email that will make sure you are serious.

                  one of the guys i know got an email from spamcop, some people keep faking his domain in From: headers.. but his machine itself is not an open relay, told him there was nothing he could do.

                  sometimes i think these spam list things are almost as fucked as the spam itself..
                  php/mysql guru. hosting, coding, all that jazz.
