Technical E-Mail Question

Is there a way to track back an e-mail that was sent to me and find out where the e-mail origionated from Geographically?

In other words how do I find out where an e-mail was sent from (what part of the world)? Is there a way to trace it back?

If anyone can help me out please hit me up on ICQ 5191566. I'm doing some snooping

Look in the header of the email for the ip addres of the sending smtp server. And then download the trail of VisualRoute
