    DVD Region Codes: HELP

I bought this new PC last week with DVD player, but after watching a few DVD's I had laying around, I got this crappy message, causing me to not watch some of my DVDs again. I am in the middle of the Matrix, but it seems to fixed to country code 2 now, sucker ... I found this in the help files:

Caution: PowerDVD will only allow you to set the regional settings five times until the regional code is fixed. Subsequently, playback of DVD titles will be specific to one region. Some DVD titles may not be region-specific.

Anybody know what I can do to keep being able to watch ALL regional codes? This pretty much sucks ass.

I'll have a look, this is worthless.

I have the official copy of the software though, you mean hacks just for the removal of the regional coding crap?

DVD Genie is nice, but it doesnt work on our software, as we have PowerDVD XP, it only works up to version 3.x

There are some sites that have hacks for individual models. http://kickme.to/dvd105s

See if yours is on there.
