    Easter brunch...WTF $50 average!!!!

Been looking around San Diego for a good place for easter brunch. The average price I'm finding is $50 per person. How can they justify that. Who could eat $50 worth of food in one setting. Man that is nuts. They give doggie bags? Maybe I'll bring some tupperware and take my $50 worth home.

well let's see here...they have to pay the chefs and the wait staff and the managerial staff and the rent and the utilities and the advertising and the food and they can also charge some more because certain people are lazy and don't want to cook themselves. lol

Most are hotels who already have the wait staff on the clock. $50 is just crazy. Kids are $25 and I have never seen a kid put away $25 worth of food!

It is a huge brunch day for the industry. Same as Valentines day for dinner, and so on. Most often it is literally a sell out for most places that do this. They ussually do go all out offering many premium style items also. Yes they make big bucks and yes they are taking advantage of it.

P.S. It is not aimed at kids.

$50 is a good price. Probably even includes a coctail or two. I'd hate to think what it is going to cost my folks per person for where we are going on Sunday.
