    Cleaned my computer

Spring cleaning. I pulled the cover and vacuumed it all out. The heat sink fins and the fan were a mess. Hopefully this extends the life of this pig but anything else I should look for? I also replaced the clock battery as the damn thing was always way slow.

You seriously vacuumed? Is that ok to do? I'm cleaning all mine soon, was planning on using that condensed air stuff.

I use compressed air...vacuums can cause static electricity with the nylon bristols

I do the same thing. Works OK, but I should take a couple hour to take it appart then air spray the motherboard/video card and all that crap then put it back. Lots of dust get sucked into the powersupply, behind the motherboard, inside cd/dvd drive But i'm too lazy to do it now

LOL, you dont know what u might suck up, using a vaccum

I would go with a high pressure air gun, not too high pressure, just enough to blow all the crap out

You can get it ploughing a paddock, you can get it makin some porn sites, matter of fact I've got it now.

For a hard earned thrist, you need a big cold beer.
