anyone know why when i search for various things, as soon as the results appear, it redirects to another page. its wierd.. ive noticed a lot of "rx" results being number 1 after the redirect.
Se Cloaker program i meant. Meant to redirect you instantly . The real page doesnt redirect for the spiders but for the avg person it does.
It's easy to do a two faced thing and if referrer = google, then send visitor to lalaland, then all other traffic (such as from google's spider) will view the 'real' page.
Ganja - you've got some sort of hijacking spyware - it matches your search to their 'sponsors'. Check what's running in the background (control+alt+delete then the processes tab) tell us if you see any similar looking applications like report anything funny - double check if you have similar named files like ssmss.exe or crss.exe....
If you have two similar ones, let me know - that may be it.
Your google is being hijacked my friend. Try typing in even something non porn and you will see that the second page is where the things are. You got to reset your IE.
You may have removed the program that caused the problem but you still get redirected if it screwed up your HOSTS file.
Do a search for files or folders called HOSTS. There may be several on your boot drive. Open them with notepad. There will be notes explaining what it is. If there are any IPs listed other than your local host then delete them and save the file.
